Eucalyptus is a tree originally from Australia, which was famous for its use in draining wetlands, when it was planted in large quantities.

The percentage of eucalyptus essence, obtained by steam distillation, is quite high, for example from 50 kg of leaves, it is obtained about 1L of essence. The resulting liquid is in most cases colorless and has a fresh and sharp aroma, which has always been used to flavor numerous pharmaceutical preparations and medicinal candies.

Eucalyptus essential oil, thanks to its refreshing effect, has the following beneficial effects:   

• Air purifier - It has shown that there is nothing better and more efficient for purifying stagnant air than eucalyptus essence. A few drops in the aroma lamp will quickly freshen the air, and the space will exude purity.

• Insect Repellent - To keep insects away from you, you can add a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil to the body cream (preferably unperfumed), and then apply it to the parts of the body you want to protect.

• Antiseptic effect - The antiseptic effect of eucalyptus is useful in the treatment of injuries and insect bites. In case of colds and flu, inhalations can be used by pouring 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 3 drops of eucalyptus essence, 2 drops of forest pine and 2 drops of lemon and / or tea tree into a small bowl with warm water.  Inhale twice a day.
